Can a third-party provider of Reaction Commerce related services / plugins use the «reaction» word in its domain name?

Thanks for answering my previous question (Can a third-party plugin for Reaction Commerce use a non-GPL commercial license?).

The new question is something related: can a third-party provider of Reaction Commerce related services / plugins use the «reaction» word in its domain name?

I have learnt your «Copyright» page:

Reaction Commerce is a mark of Reaction Commerce, Inc. “Reaction Commerce” and the Reaction Commerce graphic logo are all trademarks of Reaction Commerce, Inc.

Currently it says only about the «Reaction Commerce» phrase, not about «Reaction».
But probably you can register the «Reaction» word as trademark too in future.

So, that is your position about using the «reaction» word in a domain name: e.g.: reaction.<TLD> or reaction-<other word>.<TLD>. Is it OK or not?

Thanks for checking on this. To avoid potential confusion with our own marketing efforts, we prefer that third-party Reaction Commerce services or plugins not use the word “reaction” in their brand name or domain name. We’ve updated our copyright and trademark notices to clarify our trademarks.

We’d love to learn about what you’re building. We’re always happy to help support and promote community efforts. Thanks!
